Whether you're coming to this area for the Baseball Hall of Fame, Dreams Park, Glimmerglass Opera, Soccer Hall of Fame, Fenimore Art Museum, or the Farmer's Museum, Whitfield House is ideally located just minutes between Oneonta and Cooperstown in the heart of Leatherstocking Country. The area has an abundance of intriguing antique and gift stores. A short drive takes you to Gilbert Lake State Park, with fishing, swimming and hiking. Easy day trips can be made to Howe Caverns, the Finger Lakes, Catskill Mountains, etc.

A gas grill is available in the yard under the fruit trees.  A large laundry room with washer and dryer are for use by all of our guests in the house.
