Oneonta and Cooperstown in the heart of Leatherstocking Country.
The area has an abundance of intriguing antique and gift stores.
A 15 minute drive takes you to two golf courses and Gilbert
Lake State Park, with fishing, swimming and hiking. Easy
day trips can be made to Howe
Caverns, the Finger
Lakes, Catskill
Mountains, etc.
Applefield is about
1700 ft. above sea level in a rolling lush mountainous region.
Our summer days are balmy, warm and sometimes humid, while at
night a sweater or light jacket is just the thing.

We specialize in baseball
camp family accommodations (a 15 min. scenic drive), family reunions,
group vacations, and, most importantly, we cater to the family.
