Why not stay at Canadarago Lake and combine baseball with a week at a lakeside retreat?  Lake wildlife abounds here - bass, perch, musky, walleye, merganser ducks, mallards, loons, Canada geese, herons, muskrats, crayfish, and even some misguided seagulls.  Bring your binoculars and you may see an eagle grab its lunch from the water! 

On top of this, the cabin is only a traffic-free 11 miles to Cooperstown and 14 miles to Dreams Park.  Fishing rods, private dock, canoe and lifejackets are provided.  There is a pebbly beach area with no weeds, but bring watershoes due to some sharp zebra mussel shells. 

The cabin is reminiscent of Adirondack-style lodging with knotty pine interior, quaint decor, some antiques, and stained glass accents.

All rooms have ceiling fans and bedrooms have AC.  The first floor has a large eat-in kitchen, living room overlooking the lake, a bathroom with a shower, and a queen bedroom.   The spacious second floor bedroom has both a queen and a full sized bed.  All bedding is luxury level, so you'll have a good night's sleep.  The bedding and towels are supplied, housekeeping is not provided.  The kitchen is equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, etc.  Since the cabin's water supply is from the lake, some bottled water for drinking and cooking is supplied.   The living room has a TV, DVD, and some good old-fashioned board games.  The deck overlooking the lake is accessible from the outside; there is a gas grill, and deck furniture with umbrellas.

The cabin is only 5 minutes from the Town of Richfield Springs, with a pizzeria, diner, Chinese restaurant, Lakehouse restaurant, gas station, supermarket, McDonald's, laundromat and antique shops.  Under 10 minutes the other way takes you to a great ice cream/burger/game room or to shop at the Cider Mill.
